SERIOUSLY,WTH?

A 9-year-old boy attending Endeavor Elementary School in Orlando, FL was detained by police on Wednesday after his classmates told school officials that he had multiple weapons in his backpack.

While searching the backpack, officers found an unloaded gun, a magazine holding six bullets, a steak knife and a sledgehammer.

The father of the unidentified boy, who appeared in court today, claimed that his son was acting out a character in the video game Minecraft, which features the use of sledgehammers and guns.

False. It's a modded Minecraft. It does NOT have any guns, hammers, nor knives, you IDIOT. Plus,he says it's DEFAULT weapon.

“They use hammers to dig and knives and guns to protect themselves from zombies,” the boy’s father told WFTV.com

SUDDEN MOD REVIEW. AND HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT  HE IS SAYING. TERRIBLE.

The  boy faces charges of possession of a firearm on school grounds, possession of a concealed firearm and possession of a firearm by a minor. The guns came from the home of the boy’s father, who doesn’t believe the gun could have caused any harm.

“Well, the gun was stored in a drawer, but the firing pin component had been removed,” the boy’s father  told WFTV.

For those unfamiliar with Minecraft, it’s a popular mobile and video game that is not only rated E (for everyone), but seems relatively harmless at first glance. The game has multiple modes (survivor, creative and adventure) that allow players to build their own worlds and act as they choose.

However, the game features 20-minute life cycles divided into night and day, and at night, animals, zombies and other creatures attack the player unless they are killed by a multiple array of weapons available in the game.

True,but you're missing something.

YOU FORGOT THE SOURCE.

So I added one right here:

What’s more interesting

What's more interesting is that you're now blaming that game.

is that many Amazon reviews from parents claim that the game is great for kids. Here are a few of them:

Anyway mine craft

You used AutoCorrect. FAIL.

has greatly improved my sons (son's) social interaction, his speech, and his self esteem. He realizes that he is the creator of his own world, not only in mine craft but in the real world now. It has opened up so much opportunities for him. It has also taught all of my children the benefits of sharing, and the loving peaceful environments that do exist if only we could all pull together and build them.
–”Pink Breadsticks,” who claims she has an autistic son who loves the game

All 3 of my children have this game. My 3 year old loves it….It helps with his hand eye coordination. Not sure what’s so cool about the game but kids love it.
– Teresa Curtis, another mother and proponent of the game.

My comment:

If you don't know what's so good about it,DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

Many reviews claim that it’s not only fun and addictive, but allows kids to be creative and productive. It’s likely that the little boy did not realize the true impact of guns, the violence that occurs when he plays video games, or the serious damage he could have caused. Whether or not he had any intent to use the weapons remains unclear.

Does this provide an argument that these games

Did you mean: Call of Duty,Grand Theft Auto,Battlefield, and TONS of other "REAL FPS" games made for Xbox 360,PC,and Playstation 3?

shouldn’t be accessible to young kids? Should adults be weary of letting their children of any age be exposed to violent video games without a serious conversation about its consequences?

If you aren't sure about it,DO NOT EVEN PUT ANY REFERENCE OF IT.

RYOT NOTE: It seems that there are more and more instances of young children bringing weapons or fake weapons to schools. Whether or not it’s the responsibility of video game makers to be cognizant of the adverse effects their violent video games may have, parents should still educate their children about gun violence and prevention. The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence is just one resource that aims to pass, enforce, and protect sensible laws and public policy that address gun violence at the federal and state level.

Summary: This article is bringing 60M users of Minecraft to that "Government Contol" and trying to KILL Minecraft.

What's worse is that his father NEVER played that game, nor saw ORIGINAL one.

The worst thing is even the writer of this article is UNSURE about it.

Thus,this article needs RECONSTRUCTION,NOT EDITING.

Peace,Skybound.

"unless they are killed by a multiple array of weapons available in the game.

You should really check your facts. The only weapons in

minecraft (unless you use a weapons mod) are swords and bows.

Why are you focusing so much on the game and NOT on how easy it was

for a nine-year-old to take his parents' gun, ammo, and other things

that can be used as weapons without his parents knowing?

SHAME ON YOU.

Look what have you done, both the writer of this

article and that unidentified boy(and his father).

You are now SUING innocent Markus Persson for

a problem NOT REALTED TO THE GAME NOR HIM.

And entire Mojang AB.

YOU MONSTER.
